🔊 Hear the Meows before you choose!

Loud, abrupt and built for panic. The Chainsaw Meow is less of a gentle awakening and more of an immediate emergency briefing.

Used best as:

  • Morning alarm

  • Backup alarm

  • Important timer

  • Any morning when waking up calmly is no longer an option

The story behind the sound

Bean’s unmistakable meows became the soundtrack of Waking Up with Bean—the daily series that helped Beauty and the Bean win the 2026 Webby People’s Voice Award for Best Animal on the Internet. The Chainsaw Meow represents Bean at full power: subtlety was never considered.

Your download includes:

  • The Chainsaw Meow digital sound file

  • Step-by-step setup instructions for iPhone and Android

  • Video tutorial showing you exactly what to tap

  • Your official Bean Noise License for personal use

A quick note for iPhone users: Apple requires a few extra steps before a downloaded sound can be selected as an alarm, including using the free GarageBand app. It may look like a lot at first, but the included PDF and video tutorial walk you through every step slowly and clearly.

Android setup is generally quicker, although menu names may vary between phones.
